Smooth, sweet, pleasantly nutty – this is what cold-pressed walnut oil is like. It is excellent in breakfast porridges, salads and legume spreads, to which it adds a completely different dimension. Traditionally, it is also added to many cold dishes of oriental cuisine.
Highly nutritious walnuts were a familiar delicacy to the ancient Romans, who loved to add them to their traditional dishes. They called them Jovis glans, after the god Jupiter, to whom they dedicated the walnut tree.
With the passage of time, a honey-golden oil began to be pressed from these nuts, which, thanks to its easy absorption and high content of valuable antioxidants, it was also used in the cosmetics industry.
The Royal Walnut (Juglans regia) is a massive deciduous tree growing up to 50 metres high. The resulting oil is extracted from its perfectly ripe fruit in a gentle way, by cold pressing.
Dueto its high content of essential fatty acids, walnut oil is a very nutritious vegetable oil. The omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid is present in the oil in an amount exceeding 50%, while the omega-3 fatty acid α-linolenic acid is present in 15%.
Our walnut oil is obtained by cold pressing, where it retains the maximum amount of vitamins, minerals and other substances beneficial to the body thanks to the low processing temperatures and the omission of refining.
Walnut oil has amild, sweet and pleasantly nutty taste. It is excellent in breakfast porridges, salads and legume spreads, to which it adds a completely different dimension. Traditionally, it is also added to many cold dishes of oriental cuisine.

Olej ten ma delikatny, orzechowy smak i świetnie komponuje się z sałatkami oraz innymi potrawami. Z książki Olejki eteryczne dowiedziałem się, że jest bardzo pomocny w poprawie pamięci. Codziennie rano biorę jedną łyżeczkę tego oleju. Smak mi odpowiada, a wiem, że działanie opisane w książce zauważę trochę później."

Pravidelně kupuji lněný olej, který je prostě úžasný, nyní jsem vyzkoušela i z vlašských ořechů a je velice lahodný používám ho do jogurtu s ovocem a nemohu si ho vynachválit, další zkouška bude olivový, ten jsem ještě neměla.

Arcápolóként használva szépen gyorsan felszívódik. Száraz fejbőrre vittem fel fülpálcika segítségével óvatosan, hogy a haj közben ne legyen túl olajos tőle. Látványosan széppé varázsolta a fejbőrt. Agyunkra gyakorolt jó hatását napi egy kanál fogyasztásával igyekszem kihasználni. Finom ízű olaj! :-)
