Curated reviews by the BEWIT Team
„Kúpila som si ho kvôli experimentovaniu s tvorbou vlastného oleja ako zábalu na vlasy. Zmiešala som ho so šalviou, levanduľou a ružovým drevom. Na výsledky samozrejme budem musieť počkať, ale vonná kompozícia je to krásna (Hinoki som každopádne dala najmenej, nechala som vyniknúť vôňu šalvie a ružového dreva).“

Rare wood of Buddhist temples
Hinoki is a rare tree native to Japan. In the past, its wood, known for its delicate citrus fragrance, was used in the construction of Buddhist temples and shrines. For the Japanese, it symbolizes purity and strength and it is considered sacred. It is protected by the Japanese government and only wood from fallen trees can be distilled. Essential oils are therefore available only in limited quantities.
