Multiple species of pine
Although the effects of ginger essential oils are similar, there are differences in their scents.
While the scent of Sumatran pine (Pinus merkusii) has a distinct eucalyptus note, the scent of Pine Forest (Pinus sylvestris) is subtly sweet, floral. In contrast, the smell of Red pine (Pinus resinosa) is distinctly earthy to spicy, a fresh delicate scent is created when combining with Eastern white pine (Pinus strobus). Jack pine (Pinus banksiana) has sweet resinous notes.

Methods of use
Inhalation
Put 3–5 drops of essential oil into the diffuser or inhalation stick.
Massage
Gently massage the soles of the feet or the whole body with a mixture of five drops of essential oil and 30 ml of carrier oil.
Bathe
Mix 3–5 drops of essential oil and three tablespoons of cream, honey or liquid soap thoroughly into the water-filled bath.
