The summer solstice is a magical moment. The longest day of the year is upon us, when the Sun reaches its highest point in the sky.

Our ancestors were strongly connected to nature. That is why the Solstice is associated with many traditions and rituals. One of them is the feast of Litha. It refers to the Slavic goddess Rusalka, who is a symbol of fertility and beauty. Fall under her spell. An element of the feast is water, which helps you wash away what no longer serves us.

Traditional summer solstice celebrations

The Litha festival has a long history and is associated with rich traditional celebrations. These include fire, dancing, singing and sharing between people. Fire is a magical symbol. It represents the power and energy of the Sun.

The symbolism and magic of the Summer Solstice

The summer solstice and therefore the Litha festival itself are part of the natural cycle of nature. It is a time of abundance and fertility. A celebration that has deep meaning.

The symbolism of sun, fire and water is reflected in the rituals. This magical moment provides us with a unique opportunity to tune into the energy of nature.

Emotions and connection with nature

The summer solstice is a time when we can connect with nature and feel its power. It will allow us to work intensively with emotions.

It is a time of magic, symbolism and emotion. The Litha holiday brings us the opportunity to connect with nature, to get rid of what does not serve us, to celebrate abundance and the joy of life. Let yourself be carried away by the magical atmosphere of the Summer Solstice and let yourself experience your emotions.

Ritual

You will only need yourself, a quiet place (ideally in nature) and an olfactory anchor - e.g. a blend of essential oils BEWIT Freedom.

Get comfortable. Put 2 drops of essential oil in your palms and inhale for about 2 minutes. Then place your hands in a position that feels comfortable to you.

Imagine you are in a beautiful forest clearing. Take a deep breath through your nose. You feel the smell of the forest, the singing of birds. Exhale slowly through your mouth. Be fully present.

Listen up. In the distance you can hear the babbling of a brook. Follow the sound. Follow the footpath to the water. Dip your hand in it. It is pleasant and refreshing. Can you feel her energy?

Immerse yourself in the water as much as you feel comfortable. Let yourself be embraced by her, merge with her. Feel it touch the tips of your toes, through your knees, hips, lap, stomach, shoulders, arms, to the tips of your fingers. Let its energy permeate your neck, jaw, nose, eyes, temples, forehead and top of your head.

Imagine that with every wave that splashes against your body, one negative emotion - fear, anxiety, anger - floats away together. You feel your mind becoming calmer and calmer. Remain in this state for as long as you wish. Let everything go that's supposed to go.

Now turn your attention to the Sun as it reaches its peak. Summer Solstice is here. A time of plenty. Get out of the water and sit on a large rock by the shore. The sun's rays illuminate your body and mind and charge you with positive energy. You are full of strength. Take a deep breath and send this energy into every little part of your body. Shine through the magic ray of the Sun. With an exhale, imagine yourself radiating light and love all around you.

Rise from the stone and thank the sun and water for your ritual. Gently bend your fingertips, shoulders, head, gently stretch.

Open your eyes and finally breathe again from the palms of your hands.
