It's coming. It's less than 6 weeks until Christmas. Christmas biscuits time is here.
Reminisce about your childhood and smell the apartment with Linzer candy.
P. S. We recommend baking one batch now and the second batch just before Christmas. Our linzer is dangerously delicious. They'll disappear like steam over a pot.
It is also suitable for vegans.
Preparation: 60 minutes
Difficulty: moderate
Use: for the tummy
YOU WILL NEED:
BEWITELLA Merry Christmas
100 g of BEWIT Date Powder
300 g plain flour
200 g vegetable butter
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 vanilla pod
Procedure
Mix the flour and date powder in a bowl.
Add the cold vegetable butter cut into cubes, vanilla sugar and lemon zest.
Make a dough.
Wrap the worked dough in cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for at least an hour. Roll out the dough on a floured rolling pin into a sheet about 0,3 cm thick.
Cut out circles from the dough. Leave half of it aside. Cut out the other half of the rounds with a smaller round in the middle.
Transfer the rounds to a baking sheet with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 160 °C for about 8 to 10 minutes. If you have a conventional oven, choose a temperature of 170 °C. It is recommended to keep an eye on the candy.
Let the baked rounds cool and glue them with BEWITELLA Merry Christmas.
Enjoy the true taste of Christmas.
