This warming drink, full of pumpkin, cinnamon and clove flavours, helps us slow down and enjoy the cool autumn days in peace and quiet. It is a great choice not only for coffee lovers, but also for those who like sweet and spicy drinks. And what's even better? You can easily prepare this scrumptious drink at home with us, using quality products that will take your delicious autumn treat to the next level.
Why prepare Pumpkin Spice Latte at home?
Home preparation gives you the opportunity to customise the drink exactly to your preferences. Not only will you have control over the quality of the ingredients, but you can also use nutritious products that will support your health. What you need:
For the Pumpkin Spice sirup
- 1/2 hokkaido pumpkin
- 150 ml of water
- 1 cup of BEWIT Dried cane juice
- 1 tablespoon of BEWIT Date Powder BIO
- 1 tablespoon of BEWIT Ground Ceylon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoons of BEWIT Fractionated Coconut Oil / MCT
- BEWIT Ginger
- 1 teaspoon of BEWIT Whole Cloves
For the Pumpkin Spice Latte
- 2 teaspoons of prepared Pumpkin Spice syrup
- 2 teaspoons of quality coffee
- 150 ml of water
- 100 ml of plant milk (we recommend to use BEWIT Coconut cream milk powder)
Method:
Syrup preparation:
- Cut the hokkaido pumpkin in half, scoop out the seeds and place one half skin side up on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake at 180 °C for about 40 minutes, until the pumpkin is soft.
- Let the roasted pumpkin cool, peel and place in a blender.
- Pour the puree into a saucepan, add dried cane juice, date powder, cinnamon, cloves and water.
- Bring the mixture to the boil and cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.
- Soak a toothpick into the BEWIT Ginger essential oil and then dip it into BEWIT Fractionated Coconut Oil. Stir this flavoured oil into the syrup.
- Strain the syrup through a fine sieve and leave to cool. Store in a sealable jar in the refrigerator.
Latte preparation:
- Put two teaspoons of the prepared syrup in the bottom of the glass.
- Add the whipped plant milk and pour in good quality coffee.
