We transformed the Michálka minein Ostrava, where coal was previously mined, into a production plant full of pure nature. All products are manufactured, tested, stored and delivered to you, our customers. For all this, we have almost 8,000 m of space.² and more than 150 in-house employees who take care of the entire operation and service.

1. We have found the best quality sources and suppliers 

We always promote and strive for the most respectful approach to the natural environment. That is to say, to grow, harvest and process plants in a gentle and as natural a way as possible. Free of herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, contaminants, chemical residues and genetic modification (GMO). Thus, all the plants we use must grow in optimal conditions, be harvested correctly and processed in a timely manner.

2. We create our own formulas for essential blends

All essential oil blends are blended at our headquarters in Ostrava according to our own recipes. We compile them both from the most modern world studies and according to the millennia-old traditions of Eastern medicine. 

3. We have the highest quality essential oils, CTEO

There is no global standard for what composition essential oils should properly meet. Therefore, we have developed our own system of standards and protocols for monitoring, controlling and evaluating the quality of essential oils.

We test essential oils from suppliers in our own laboratory. We check whether:

• They are not diluted with a chemical solvent.
• They are not adulterated. Some essential oil components can be easily extracted and used as additives in other oils.
• They contain the right amount of the ingredients. The approximate amount of ingredients that an essential oil should contain can be deduced from various scientific studies. We are trying to find out and confirm this fact for ourselves. If we find anything wrong, we have the oil tested at Tomas Bata University in Zlín or in independent accredited laboratories.
  
  

We check the purity and composition of BEWIT essential oils using gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. In gas chromatography, each component of the essential oil passes sequentially through the measuring column and is analysed at the output. This is how we determine exactly what components are in the test sample.

4. We honour the AHINSA principles

It is a moral and religious principle of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. It consists in respect for all living things = products have not been, are not and will never be tested on animals.

5. We produce oils with a guarantee of freshness 

We use a combination of traditional historical knowledge and modern technology in the fine distillation of essential oils. At the same time, we process all oils at low temperatures. We thus preserve the maximum amount of natural bioactive substances.  

We produce cold-pressed oils directly in BEWIT premises in Ostrava. The production line is flexible = we only produce the necessary amount of oil, which is shipped directly to you within the next 24 hours (this applies to products with the "super-fresh" label). Freshness is a key parameter for us, as is the quality of the pressed seeds. We further process these ourselves.
